Sure a parent can stay at home and spend a good quantity of time with a child, but if the parent is an alcoholic or a drug addict?

Or what about Andrea Yates? She spent A LOT of time with her kids...

True, true… I guess this should read: Assuming the parents are sane non-alcoholics who don’t try to kill, hurt, mane, or inflict physical or emotional harm (purposely) on their kids.
