So I don't know about you guys, but I get at least 5 similar email each day.
They're all nearly the same. The story goes that something like this:
I live in Africa. My village was raided and my father/brother/husband was killed in a revolution (that somehow didn't make the news). Before he/she was killed, he deposited 150 million dollars into an account. If I can deposit into your account, I'll give you 25%.
There are other variations, like "I work at a bank, and we found $150 million in a closed account that you can claim...blah...blah...blah."
So I wonder, does anyone ever fall for this?
Does anyone else receive this?

I feel really bad for these guys. They're obviously reaching out for help and you, heartless-conservative Mike, blow them off!

Just one thing, if the emails say they are from Africa, and their dad/brother/friend had millions of dollars why the heck is Bono form U2 wanting us to forgive all the dept owed to us by poor African nations. And aren’t half the people there starving anyway, so where did this dude get millions…how unbelievable….you have to got for it.

On a similar line of thought...
I hate the fact that I get all these debt consolidation spam in my inbox. It's not necessarily the fact that it's spam. I'm not that neurotic.
What bothers me is the fact that these companies have the nerve to write in their subject lines "tired of creditors harrassing you?" When it is in fact these debt consolidation companies that are harrassing me.
I get at least 5 of these per day. They obviously aren't targeting their marketing or they would have realized I have absolutely no need for their services.
At least I have a place to gripe...
