A family of Egyptian immigrants was slain recently in New Jersey, and it looks like the killings are religiously motivated.

"This is not a robbery, Ayed said. "We found all of the jewelry in the house. They didn't take anything."

Question for debate:
Why hasn't this hit the national media?

Well, I don't think it has been entirely ignored. Here's an Associated Press article:

Family of four found slain in N.J. home

I've also found reference to the story on a website for a television station in Utah.

If you're asking why this isn't front page news everywhere in the nation, it's a sad fact that the murder of four people isn't so unusual that it dominates the headlines everywhere.

On the hand, it has certainly captured the attention of the folks who hang around this website:

Christian family butchered in NJ

this type of slaughter will start happening everywhere in the country a Muslm community exists. I say do unto them before they do unto us...

Islam and Chritianity has never mixed and never will. It's all in GOD'S hands!

Of course, this horrible crime must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. That doesn't call for an open attack on Islam in general.
