BUSHIE IN THE POLLS

That's gotta smart...58%!!! wacko.gif wacko.gif

From the article:
Still, the president gets high marks for leadership, vision and his ability to make hard decisions. His handling of national defense wins approval from more than six in 10 Americans

But it's his LEADERSHIP that counts too biggrin.gif

BTW: Here's another site that relates to this:

I still can't believe it's so high. huh.gif

It was inevitable. In fact, I'm slightly surprised it took this long. Now we're gonna have to declare war on someone - it's the only way to salvage Dubya's popularity.

I really don't see the fuss, compared to most other presidents, it's an average approval rating.

Clinton went as far down as 56% (this is so far as low as my research has shown me) then it wne back up

Clinton's ratings

But still

Bush isn't perfect & his numbers show that. But he is a good president & like i said on my first post (i think), he still has high marks in leadership

I don't feel he's doing good but I guess it just depends on what you're looking for in a President. I think we need someone better at foreign diplomacy and someone less secretive with his policies. But that's just me.

Edited to add I also feel the president should have to actually uphold the Constitution instead of trying to circumvent it.

I don't think, when he came into office, meant to change the constitution if that's what you are saying. But when 9/11 happened, a whole lot of things had to change or terrorists were gonna get away with what they did & that makes for ALOT OF UNHAPPY VOTERS if people behind 9/11 got away with it sleep.gif

He came into office untested for a situation like this but he passed it because he rose up & did something about it

I don't think what he did about it was the right thing is what I'm saying. But you and I will have different opinions on that and the best thing we can do is agree to disagree.

I hope he get's voted out of office for everyones good next time and I will do my part to help that happen.

I don't think that'll happen because he's got 1 more year but he's got an ALL REPUBLICAN Congress to pass all of his bills that were put on the backburner by the Democrats

I think it is because of "all talk and no play". The president the greatest president has literally delcared war, not military wise YET, but propergranda. Droppng them leaflets. This is almost like a decleration of war. He needs to go to war and get it over with. If not it will prove detrimental in the people across the world because we are all talk and no play
