What an extremely odd news day at Google. I had to check the calendar to make sure it wasn’t April Fool’s Day. Among the stories of international intrigue, murder, mayhem and politics (but I repeat myself), there are these gems:

Kinky Friedman is running for Texas governor (Let’s get Kinky for Texas! )

Tampa firefighters were fired for hiring strippers to pose nude on the fire truck while they took pictures. (too many bad jokes come to mind here )

A woman gave her husband a sherry enema and it killed him. (Have some Madera, my dear? )

Ford pulls an ad that shows “a mischievous girl's prank caused a clergyman to be tempted by a 2006 Lincoln Mark LT pickup” (what were they thinking?)
