The Senate approved a bill which would allow oil drilling in the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge, which is located in northeast Alaska. However, production will not start until at least 2007, and oil will not start flowing until at least 2010. The oil drilled will be enough to last all the vehicles in LA & Philadelphia one day.
Questions for debate:
Will the drilling help America or harm the wildlife?
Will the oil last?
Will the drilling lower gas prices?
