Problems that Bush has had in common with his predecessors of the last century

Lyndon Johnson/Nixon - an unpopular "illegal" war

Jimmy Carter - high gas prices and possible rapid inflation, a feeling of malaise

Ronald Reagan - massive debt and deficits, huge out of control military spending

Bush senior - a recession with high unemployment

Hoover - legislation that favors the very wealthy, dismantling programs that were built in spite of Hoover, labor laws, anti-workers rights, corporate fraud


My question:

Is Bush the all ecompassing failure as a president, seeing that he has so much going wrong?

What other traits of this administration resemble other failures of preceding presidents? You can't say extramarital affair however...
