This announcement is to let you know that you may experience some downtime or errors in the next 24 hours.

We will be moving our SpellCheck and Advertising Management System (AMS) over to a different server in an effort to reduce the load on the main AD server, and therefore make AD faster and more efficient.

Also, please note that a limited portion of our members may not be able to access the spellcheck for approximately 48-72 hours after the switchover is made. If this occurs at all, it would be due to inadequate DNS management on behalf of your ISP, and not necessarily the fault of America's Debate.

The spellcheck portion of this has been completed.

Spellchecking should hopefully be a bit faster now.

I was able to make the change so that nobody will have any downtime for the spellcheck feature.

The AMS has now been moved over.

That means that pages that contain in-house advertising (pages that require you to be logged-in to view, such as UserCP pages, PM pages, etc.) should now load much faster.
