There are a lot of funny political/news sites out there.

I figure we could start a thread to link to these sites.

My personal favorite is The Onion. They have some of the funniest stories I've found.

I also like BanScrewdrivers.com.

...and today, I found Happy Fun Pundit.

Anyone else have any good ones?

How could you not mention GWBush.com (or Not a Crackhead Anymore as it used to be called)? Actually, The White House is probably even better. I must agree, though, The Onion is about the best.

Okay, this is blatantly off-topic, but I didn't want to start a whole new thread to post a single joke. How's this for trying to force it into context: Sometimes humor can be found in the least likely web sites. This joke is lifted from the discussion board at arabia.com - not what one would ordinarily consider a "funny political site":
After getting nailed by a daisy-cutter, Osama bin Laden makes his way to the pearly gates. There, he is greeted by George Washington. "How dare you attack the nation I helped conceive!" yells Washington, slapping bin Laden in the face. Patrick Henry then approaches. "You attacked liberty, so they gave you death!" Henry punches Osama in the nose. Jemmy Madison comes up next and says, "This is why I allowed the Federal government to provide for the common defense!" and knees bin Laden in the groin. Osama is subject to similar beatings from James Monroe, John Randolph, and five and a half dozen others who have the same love for liberty and America. As he writhes on the ground, Thomas Jefferson picks him up and hurls him back toward the gate where he is to be judged. As bin Laden awaits his journey to his final destination, he screams, "This is not what I was promised!" An angel replies, "We told you there would be seventy-two Virginians waiting for you. What did you think we said?"
